Some untreated roads are expected to be icy in parts of eastern England and east Midlands into Friday morning, in particular where snow showers have occurred overnight.

A band of snow moving into eastern England is expected to give accumulations of 2cm or so quite widely, perhaps 5cm in places.
It is likely to be most widespread and heaviest late on Friday evening before tending to die out after midnight, but untreated roads may remain icy well into Saturday morning, and the public are advised that some travel disruption may result.
Valid from 1500 Friday until 1100 Saturday.

A band of snow is expected to move across England and Wales Saturday afternoon and evening, giving accumulations of around 5cm in places including low-lying areas.
Snow is like to turn to sleet then rain in Wales and more western parts of England later on Saturday.
The public are advised that some travel disruption may result, and should pay close attention to forecasts as the event approaches.
Valid from 1200 Saturday until 2359 Saturday.

A band of snow will continue to move slowly eastwards across England during the first half of Sunday, which may be heavy initially but will tend to die out during Sunday morning.
Total accumulations from this snow event are likely to be of order 5-10cm in many places including low-lying areas.
The public are advised that this is likely to lead to some travel disruption, and should pay close attention to forecasts as the event approaches.
